            The Cabin at Finleys Landing is nestled in the hills of the Upper Mississippi River Valley. It is located at Finleys Landing Park near Sherrill, Iowa.

            The cabin can sleep up to 9 people with three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. This modern cabin is also equipped with central air, tankless hot water heater and full kitchen. Also, an added convenience is a washer, dryer, and charcoal grill. There are three outdoor areas including: a screened porch, balcony and deck, all providing great views of the river. In addition, there is a large public beach, concrete boat ramp and a covered boat slip available by the day.

                Pool 11 has 33 miles of very good fishing for smallmouth, largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye and sauger. Also, non-game fish are abundant. Great beaches are easily found by boat, just by traveling north from Finleys Landing. If you are without a boat, Finleys Landing Beach is a popular, rare, and road accessible beach that can be found right out your door. Or just relax at the cabin and watch the paddle wheelers and barges go by. For the railroad enthusiast, keep an eye out for an occasional, slow moving freight train to pass.

                For winter sports, Sundown Mountain is close, near Asbury, or there are public snowmobile trails and cross country ski areas on the Heritage Trail.

                Hikers can explore Finleys Landing Park. Deer, turkey, fox and bald eagles are frequently seen in the area. Winter is especially tranquil time for those who enjoy the solitude of a wintertime cabin retreat. Dubuque is located 15 miles away for shopping, dining and entertainment. Several Churches are in nearby Sherrill.
